Olive’s Garden

A love letter to our community: sharing flowers, fresh eggs, veggies and stories with neighbors.

Olive can always be found in the garden

Olive’s garden

Spring of 2025 our humble roadside egg cooler received a massive upgrade to a full farm stand, complete with a free library, cut flower gardens, veggie beds and a growing flock of chickens. We wanted to continue growing relationships with our neighbors and so we focused on creating an experience, not just a place to buy eggs. At the same time our sweet Olive received a non treatable cancer diagnosis. We were devastated, everyone who knew Olive was devastated. We knew that the farmstead needed to celebrate her spirit so it was painted bright colors infused and with playful touches (free bubble wands anyone?). This past summer we watched as neighbor’s brought their kids to pet Olive and play with the chickens, eggs were bartered for fresh bread and jam, flowers were split and traded, stories were told and friendships made. We hope you will come visit the stand this when we reopen for spring 2026.
